i am here to distract you

you may be missing me during your monday through friday work day, but never fear because i am here to distract you. ;) i'm bringing you a new section of emdot... workday distraction! i'm not sure where it will go yet, but maybe it will be a little piece of a chuckle or a little tidbit of new ways to look at things or some new things to listen to.

today's daily distraction is vik muniz, a south american artist who does the unusual: he draws with string or with sugar or chocolate and then he photographs them. look at his beautiful site and imagine what you can make for us, to help us to see things in a different way.
