One of the things I have loved about my neighborhood is the very loud and beautiful cricket chirpings in the evening. It's strange how you never see the crickets, but they are so loud there must be a million of them. And what kind are they? Well, I still don't know, but Weekend Edition Sunday had a great segment about insets sounds. Bonus, page includes beautiful shots of a few of the insects.
