EARTHQUAKE!, part III

paso before and after. this is a real lesson in the need for reinforced masonry. after the loma prieta earthquake, all california counties had to shore up their buildings that were built before earthquake codes. if they didn't, those buildings had to have signs, warning people that they were in or near reinforced masonry. i'm not really all that sure that signs are serving any purpose though. tell it to the two women who were killed in today's earthquake.

last weekend dan, corinna, and i mosied on up to paso to spend the day with shane, who lives blocks away.
